YallaFAHR – Women on Bikes

The time has finally come, and we are delighted to present our new mobile cycling training programme ,,YallaFAHR – Women on Bikes”.

The project is aimed at women and girls (aged 16 and above) with a migrant background who were not allowed or able to learn to ride a bike as children. #YallaFAHR promotes direct exchange between women nationwide (peer-to-peer programmes) and offers tutorials in native languages and multilingual traffic lessons with photos/pictograms to appeal in particular to women who cannot read or write. An empowering self-learning concept to imitate and participate in. We get things moving and show you how it’s done.

Depending on your needs and situation: consultations, online tutorials or low-threshold workshops on site. We also already have multilingual information material available for download and distribution.

Funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV) with funds for the implementation of the National Cycling Plan.

Further information on the funded project can be found here.
